How to Store our Products
You just got home with your latest Breads Bakery haul. Now what?
Babkas
-
Storage
Store your babka at room temperature in the provided packaging using the reseal tab on the back if opened; do not refrigerate. Our babkas are baked daily and, if you can resist eating them, will stay delicious for up to 5 days after purchase. To hold longer than 5 days, wrap the packaged babka in aluminum foil and freeze for up to 1 month. To defrost, remove from the freezer, recycle the aluminum foil and thaw at room temperature. If desired, reheat the defrosted babka by baking at 350F for about 5-8 minutes.

Kept your babka past its prime?
Substitute your leftover babka for the bread in your favorite French Toast, Bread Pudding or Monkey Bread recipes. (Create something great? Let us know on social media!)
Challahs
-
Storage
Store your challah at room temperature in the provided bag; do not refrigerate. Once completely cool, you can seal the bag in a container, plastic wrap or a bread box to seal in moisture. Our challahs are freshly baked daily and best enjoyed the same-day or can be enjoyed next day after being sealed air-tight. To hold after the next day, wrap the paper bag in aluminum foil and freeze for up to one month. (Pro tip: slice your challah prior to freezing so you can pull out just one slice at a time). To defrost, remove from the freezer, recycle the aluminum foil and thaw the challah at room temperature. If desired, reheat your challah in a toaster oven or by baking at 350F for about 5-8 minutes.

Our breads are freshly baked daily and should be enjoyed the same-day or can be enjoyed next day after being sealed air-tight. To hold after the next day, wrap the paper bag in aluminum foil and freeze for up to one month. (Pro tip: slice your bread prior to freezing so you can pull out just one slice at a time).
